Shipping & Handling
Days to ship for items – Generally 1-2 business Days
Orders ship together, however orders may be broken up depending on the size of the order.
Shipping Methods
We ship USPS Priority. In the event UPS or FedEx has to be used, we might be able to do that, however shipping may be more and there will be a delay in shipping as we do not have UPS or FedEx pickups here and will have to send someone to drop it off.
All orders will be sent with Insurance and anything over $750 will be sent with signature delivery. Once an order is showed as delivered we can no longer be held liable for the order.
We use flat rate shipping based on weight to make shipping costs easier and less expensive on our customers.
Shipping Restrictions
Magazine Restrictions
Any orders placed for magazines that are not legal in your state will immediately be refunded and restocked and may be subject to a 5% restocking fee
California: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CA
Chicago and other counties within IL: No magazines over the below capacities will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in the following areas.
Aurora, Illinois: maximum capacity of 15 rounds
Cook County, Illinois: maximum capacity of 10 rounds
Chicago, Illinois: maximum capacity of 10 rounds
Colorado: No magazines over 15 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CO.
Connecticut: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CT.
District of Columbia: No magazines over 10 rounds capacity will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in DC.
Hawaii: No magazines over 10 rounds that are compatible with any pistol (to include magazines compatible with both a pistol and rifle) will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in HI.
Maryland: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in MD.
Massachusetts: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in MA.
New Jersey: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in NJ.
New York: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in NY.
Vermont: No magazines over 10 rounds for Rifles and over 15 rounds for Pistols will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in VT.
Military APO/FPO: Due to shipping restrictions, Midwest Optics is not able to ship to APO/FPO addresses. If you would like to receive our products we can ship to a stateside military base (or other address) that is not an APO/FPO address.
Returns
Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 15 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will offer you a refund, less 15% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be mailed within 5 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 10% open box fee in addition to the 15% restocking fee (totaling 25%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging. If the item is used or has been installed it cannot be returned.
Due to the nature of counterfeit & broken optics/red dots being switched in the return process, absolutely no returns will be accepted for these items unless still sealed and unopened. All warranty claims must go through the manufacturer. We will do everything we can to help with any warranty issues, but no returns or exchanges will be accepted.
NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
Cancellations
Canceled orders are subject to a 5% cancellation fee, as we are not refunded the processing fee on credit card transactions.
If It has already been through shipping and packed up and you have received tracking, there will be no cancellations or you will be subject to standard restocking fees.

Shipping Errors
If a shipping error occurs that is the fault of Midwest Optics, YOU WILL NEVER be asked to pay for the return postage. However, If a new item is shipped to you and you keep both it and the old item, you will be charged for both the new item as well as ACTUAL shipping on it.
If a shipping error occurs that is the fault of the customer, you will be asked to pay a new shipping fee. This will be the actual cost of shipping the item, not the flat rate shipping rate. When it is returned via the post office, it can take up to 15 bussiness days to be returned. The orginal package will be sent out to the correct address. We are not liable for any damage that occurs to your order if it is returned to us.
DOUBLE ORDERS: Please after you click place order, give it time to process. If you click multiple times, it may place multiple orders. You will be responsible for these orders and any return shipping and restock fees if it is not caught.
Sale Items/Sale Pricing & Pricing Changes
We have on going sales to try and bring you the best value. However, we do not offer returns/exchanges on these items except when it is a mistake on our end. In the event that a problems happens, we will work with you as needed to make it right on our end.
Our Sale prices are reflected by the prices we pay. If they go up or down, the sales prices go up and down as well. If the prices go up, we will not ask you to pay more once the order is placed, however, if the price goes down, we will not refund the price difference under any circumstance.
Warranty Issues
All warranty issues for products will go through the manufacturer. We will help you contact them, but will not handle the issues for you.
